Where is Glenorie District Cricket Club's home ground?
GDCC is based in Glenorie NSW, our home field is Les Shore Oval on Old Northern Road.
At what age can my child start playing cricket?
GDCC welcomes kids to our Blasters program from the age of 5. Our first Cricket teams start at U8. Blasters programs are run at The Glenorie RSL on Friday evenings and are generally run for 10 weeks.
Does GDCC offer mixed teams or Girls only teams?
GDCC actively encourages female participation. All our cricket teams are Mixed. We also have Female only teams that compete in the HKDCA Girls Only Stage 1 and Stage 2 competitions.
How long is a junior cricket match?
Junior stage 1 cricket games run for 2 hours and are generally played on a Saturday morning. ( Stage 1 Girls only is Played on Friday Nights). Older age groups play for 4 hours on a Saturday morning.
